LOOKING GOOD

In Manhattan, there are few things more iconic than New York Fashion Week. For seven days, twice a year, fashionistas from around the world descend upon our city to review the latest ready-to-wear collections. This time around, we’re feasting our eyes on what’s to come for Fall 2013. The week kicked off with collections from both emerging designers and those more established. We've rounded up some of our favorites.
Richard Chai utilized layers in dark hues of purple, blue, charcoal and of course, the can't-go-wrong black.
Costello Tagliapietra’s collection screamed fall with its use of knits and rich autumnal colors. Love the movement in this dress.
BCBG Max Azria layered upon layers of luxurious silk, cashmere, leather and fur. Hats only added to the drama.
Timo Weiland offered a fresh take on the English countryside. I sense a bit of 'Downton' inspiration!

Looks for the runway--but interesting
You are right--not everyone would wear these looks on the street, but nonetheless the fashion is inspiring.
