Welcome back to the Tracy’s New York Life podcast. This podcast features excerpts from my life in New York City. Some readers are curious about my journey to New York City because I didn’t always live here. I grew up in Berks County, Pennsylvania, but I lived in Philadelphia for several years, and then in Atlanta for more than a decade before moving to New York. I guess I saved the best for last.
My move to NYC was unexpected. As I said in the first episode, I had given up on ever living in New York, and then destiny took over.
In the second episode, I dig a little deeper into the how, why, and timeline of moving to NYC. Life’s twists and turns aren’t always expected or positive, but we have the ability to try and take a misfortune and turn it into an accomplishment, and that’s what my husband Mike and I attempted to do. Since I had longed to live in New York since I was a child and had previously failed more than once trying to move, I consider getting to NYC one of my greatest accomplishments.
