For me, there’s no better way to feel connected to the city than to watch a New York-based film or TV show, or read about the people. Even while living here, and particularly during a pandemic when much of the city is still shut down, I get wrapped up in my own little world and don’t experience the wonders of New York City, the very reasons I choose to live here.
With the above in mind, I’ve discovered some quotes I can relate to, and I think you might as well. We’ve all come across many sayings about NYC, but these 11 quotes are dedicated to New Yorkers, the people who breathe life into the city. I think Daniel Boulud’s is one I fervently believe in. Read on to get the list.
