This past year was not easy for many of us. I think I can speak for millions of people when I say that we are looking forward to a fresh start in this new year. What will 2012 bring?
For me, I hope to write full-time, and spend a few days a month in the kitchen trying new recipes as time permits. Tweaking details in my New York apartment might also be fun, as long as I can stay thrifty and do it on a budget.
I plan to work on my long-anticipated book, and perhaps have something concrete put together by the end of the year. Who knows what will happen then? That’s just part of the excitement.
I hope to be back in skinny pants by spring, and if not, a thorough closet cleaning will be in order. Goodwill, here I come again.
I would like to grow my social network in 2012, and connect with more exciting people. There’s alot of you out there to find. Maybe you will even “Like Me”.
As boring as it sounds, I want to organize and overhaul my life. Perhaps it’s the age, or just the sheer amount of stuff that gets accumulated and isn’t needed. Editing can be liberating, just as cleaning can be creative. I’ll keep telling myself that, especially when Mike is around.
I would like to explore Brooklyn. As a Manhattanite, I rarely leave the island, and it’s time. There is life going on all over New York City. I need to discover it.
