What are you doing this Thanksgiving? Will you eat a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings? If you’re fortunate –– wherever you are and whatever you eat –– you’ll spend this upcoming holiday with family or friends. But, not everyone is so lucky. Many fellow New Yorkers are too sick to shop or cook for themselves, and many spend the holidays alone.
Every Thanksgiving, God’s Love We Deliver cooks and delivers special holiday meals to clients living with severe illnesses. The nonprofit also provides meals to their clients’ children and caregivers, as well as guest meals so that no one has to eat Thanksgiving dinner alone. This year, God’s Love will prepare 3,500 meals.

The menu includes homemade roast turkey with gravy and cornbread stuffing, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, cranberry relish, and apple crisp. God’s Love will also deliver gift baskets with holiday treats like cheese and crackers, tea, and hot chocolate.
Share in the holiday spirit and join us in sponsoring one or more holiday meals for $10 each through the ‘Celebrate with a Plate’ program.
