Happy end of the week! Here’s a fun NYC fact for you: Did you know that more than 47 percent of New Yorkers over the age of five speak another language (other than English) at home? New York is a diverse city filled with people who migrate from all over the globe, and walking down the street proves that the city is a melting pot. It’s not uncommon to hear multiple languages within one block, even in my neighborhood, which is not nearly as diverse as parts of Brooklyn or Queens –– one of the most diverse places in the world.
In NYC, you’ll never be bored or stifled, but rather, you’ll be inspired. No matter your age, skin color, race, or religion, or how unique you are, you’ll always be able to fit in here. New York welcomes everyone with open arms.
