FOUR LEGS ONLY
New York City is filled with four-legged creatures of all sizes, colors, and breeds, some of which need a warm place to sleep, a bowl of nourishing food, and as many snuggles and hugs as anyone will offer. Even though the percentage living on the streets and in shelters has declined in recent years, there are still too many homeless pets who have no one to call their own. This is where Foster Dogs NYC comes in: working with local rescue groups, they locate temporary homes for pups of all kinds in the New York area. Foster Dogs NYC connects people who want to help a shelter dog and the dogs who desperately need that help.
This spring, Foster Dogs NYC has launched a fantastic campaign called “New Yorkers Foster Dogs” to encourage us to take a little bit of time and a lot of love and give it to a shelter dog by becoming a foster owner. By partnering with Classic Kids photography studio, Foster Dogs NYC shouts a loud and clear message. Fostering often removes the dog from a shelter situation and gets the animal one step closer to finding its forever home.
Foster Dogs NYC partners with rescue organizations like Best Friends Animal Society NYC, Friends with Four Paws, Social Tees Animal Rescue, Angel Capone Pitbull Rescue, and Twenty Paws Rescue.
I chose Jasmine as our “Spotlight Pet” on Tracy’s New York Life. She is one of many cuties available for foster or adoption through Foster Dogs NYC. Jasmine is a beauty with a sweet and loving personality. Look at that face!
