|Flatiron Design Collective launched their beautiful new showroom earlier this week.|
A stylish set gathered on Monday night for what might have been the hottest party in New York City. Flatiron Design Collective’s launch attracted mostly local interior designers and other home furnishings professionals, but I made the guest list thanks to JL Create managing director and friend, Heather Harrison Moran.
I sipped Sauvignon Blanc and noshed on smoked salmon and Southwestern shrimp canapés, while admiring handcrafted wall coverings by Fromental, hand-knotted area rugs from CL Curated, and JL Create’s fashionable furniture pieces. Meanwhile, the 7th-floor showroom overflowed with more than 100 guests.
I was excited to catch up with a few old pals, and especially surprised to hang out with my friend Raymona, whom I had not seen since her baby shower earlier this year. She’s been a little busy playing mama and juggling her full-time job at Anne et Valentin. With Scott McCulley in the house too, our wacky group was back together just like old times.
You’ll see from the photos what a fun night I had in this wonderful new showroom. Here’s wishing much success to Flatiron Design Collective!
