|Greetings from Stockholm!|
My time in Stockholm has been wonderful so far. Aside from several days of little sleep and adjusting to 18 or 19 hours of daylight daily (the sun sets at about 10 p.m. and rises at about 4 a.m.), I’m thoroughly enjoying my time in this Scandinavian capital.
I’ve been busy, in between trying to adjust my internal clock and get on Stockholm time. I ate authentic Swedish food for the first time. (Hello, meatballs!) I rode the subway, tram, hop-on-hop-off bus, and wandered plenty on foot, which is my preferred way to see any city.
I discovered Djurgarden, a lush green island adjacent to the city center. I attended a 1920s-themed party at Haymarket Scandic. I visited the celebrated Vasa Museum, and the ABBA Museum. Yes, the famed ’70s band is Swedish.
Here are some scenes from the past several days in Stockholm, Sweden.
More to come!
