I was asked to partner with the legendary beauty brand, Elizabeth Arden New York. Of all the skincare and makeup companies in the world, I’m thrilled to work with the line that I represented many years ago. I stepped through the Red Door just out of high school, became an Arden girl and loved every minute of it.
I have to be honest, my time selling Arden was one of the most glamorous and fun jobs I’ve ever had. What’s not to love about standing behind an elegant counter in pretty clothes; using top-notch products; meeting and mingling with women; giving makeovers; spraying fragrances and being an ambassador for a luxurious brand like Elizabeth Arden? You get the picture.
Last week, I met the team from Elizabeth Arden at the Blog Meets Brand event. After a recent rebrand campaign, the line looks more fabulous than ever with lavish gold packaging lined in red and detailed with the famous ‘Red Door’ logo.
While at the event, one of Arden’s makeup artists applied the new Beautiful Color Mascara on my lashes, and it made my eyes look oh-so glam. I highly recommend this mascara!
Not only did the Arden team share the new products in shiny, gold packaging, but they shared some of their practical beauty secrets in the nick of time for the busy summer travel season about to start this weekend.

Bonus: I also got a bag full of EA goodies that I couldn’t wait to dig into. Here’s what was in it:
The Eight-Hour Cream, a staple in the Arden line since 1930, is the all-purpose beauty balm and long known for its incredible restorative abilities. The skincare classic helps protect and calm chapped, dry, rough skin as it soothes minor skin irritations, scrapes and abrasions. Plus, it gives eyes, cheeks, and legs a healthy-looking glow.
Skin can get very dehydrated when flying, so Eight Hour Cream is essential! Global makeup artist Rebecca Restrepo applies it to her lips before every flight, and uses it on her hands and elbows throughout a flight. “I like to warm up the product in the palms of my hands before applying to my skin, helping it activate and absorb quickly,” Restrepo says.

The Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum delivers the right amount of hydration and ceramide benefits in an efficient way. Ceramides comprise 50% of the essential lipids found in the skin, and are essential in maintaining defense against signs of aging.
Key Benefits include:
Visibly improves skin tone and clarity.
Instantly re-texturizes skin for noticeably softer, smoother looking skin.
Supports natural collagen levels to give skin a firmer more resilient look.
Works to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Helps strengthen skin’s natural protective moisture barrier.
Convenient, pre-measured single dose capsules, sealed for purity and potency.
Fragrance, preservative, and emulsifier free.
Clinically and dermatologist tested.

The New Beautiful Color Lip Gloss offers high shine, increased moisture with mango and Shea Butters, and a light vanilla scent. It tastes good too! This lip gloss is available in 14 shades with high shine, pearl and high shimmer finishes. A soft-tip paddle applicator deposits the perfect amount of gloss each time.
“Before and after a long flight, the perfect pick-me-up is a touch blush to brighten the cheeks, a swipe of brightening shadow to open the eye and a dab of rosy lip gloss,” says Restrepo. Beautiful Color Luminous Lip Gloss in Sweet Pink is her go-to color.
Personally, I like to apply this lip gloss in ‘Sunset’ with a little bit of lip liner for definition; I can skip the lipstick altogether, get a dash of color and much-needed lighter look for the summer season. Tip: The one side of the gloss container is mirrored for a never-miss application when on the go. Now that’s beauty combined with clever design.
This post was sponsored by Elizabeth Arden. In addition to monetary compensation, I received a lip gloss, the Eight Hour Cream, and the Ceramide Capsules at no cost. All opinions are my own.
