|Brunch in my New York apartment with Villeroy & Boch!|
I was delighted to receive two breakfast sets from the Villeroy & Boch New Wave Caffe Cities of the World Collection! Michael and I couldn’t wait to try the New York mugs with matching plates and after-dinner teaspoons. I, of course sipped cappuccino from my cup, while hubby drank his usual cup o’ joe. The boldly colored sets made our Sunday brunch extra special and coordinated beautifully with everything on the table.
The Empire State Building, the Flatiron Building, the Wall Street Bull, N/R subway lines, a NYC squirrel, football player (Go Giants and Jets!), street signs, and Grand Central Station adorn the mugs, and a bright, yellow street grid decorates the plates.
The New Wave Caffe Cities of the World collection originally began with London, Paris, Rome, and Berlin editions in 2012. In addition to New York in the 2013 collections, Villeroy & Boch added Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and Sydney.
We nibbled on croissants, fruit, and cheese, savored our morning beverages, and threw in a few tastes of Cristalino Brut Cava for good measure.
Why I love this…
The sleek yet ergonomic design of the mug is comfortable to hold, and perfect for a large cappuccino; the coordinating party plate has a substantial spot on the side for a bagel, muffin or other morning nosh; the long teaspoons with hammered handles are ideal for stirring; and the overall style of this collection is so New York!
Having brunch with the New Wave Caffe Cities of the World New York collection from Villeroy & Boch is a lovely way to start a Sunday.
I received these products at no cost, but I chose to feature the New Wave Caffe Cities of the World New York collection. These opinions are my own.
